KidsCare

KidsCare meets the eye care and eyewear demands of active and growing children by providing two comprehensive eye exams and an additional pair of covered lenses with a prescription each year. The rapid physical development children experience in just one year can cause children to outgrow their glasses and experience significant vision changes. If left untreated, vision issues may seriously impact a child’s overall development, which is why the KidsCare benefit is so important.

LightCare

DeltaVision goes beyond prescriptions to offer extra protection for your clients and their employees. LightCare^TM provides additional benefits that cover the cost of non-prescription sunglasses or blue light filtering glasses.

Why LightCare?

The sun’s ultraviolet rays can damage corneas and cause eye-related diseases like cataracts. Sunglasses should always be worn outdoors and 100% UVA and UVB protection is the best choice for coverage.⁴ Wearing blue light-filtering glasses indoors helps combat digital eye strain from digital screens and fluorescent lighting. With LightCare, members can use their frame and lens benefit to get nonprescription eyewear from their VSP network eye doctor.

How it works

LightCare encourages members to visit a provider for an annual eye exam. Members visit a VSP network doctor and choose to use their frame allowance either toward regular glasses and lenses, non-prescription sunglasses or non-prescription blue light filtering glasses from their DeltaVision provider’s frame options.

DeltaVision 150 Plus with EasyOptions

EasyOptions allows members to choose the benefit that best suits their needs. Rather than being locked into choosing a benefit during open enrollment, they can choose one of five benefit upgrades at the time of service: $250 frame allowance, anti-reflective lenses, progressive lenses, or a $200 contact lens allowance.
