In 2023, the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation awarded $775,000 in grants. These 12 grant recipients plan to use funds to advance oral health practices and expand access to dental care across Virginia.
The Dental Health Summer Institute is a FREE virtual course provided by the Old Dominion University Gene W. Hirschfeld School of Dental Hygiene and the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation for high school students interested in learning more about dental health professions. The Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation reports its community impact work annually through our Smile Report to the Delta Dental Plans Association. The Delta Dental system provides community support in all fifty states and our national community impact efforts addressed our communities' most pressing needs last year, including responding to COVID-19, addressing health inequities and disparities, and advancing oral health.
